Recreation and activities in Normandy at the chateau estate of Canisy
Thanks to its magnificent, well-kept park, and to its vast farm and forest land Canisy, our luxury hotel in Normandy, offers many recreational possibilities and leisure activities on site: you can wander through the large estate on foot, on VTT, or on horseback. You can play tennis or you can fish on the pond. You can play petanque or croquet. We can also arrange for archery or ball trap shooting. In the evening you may enjoy our modern night club. Or we will arrange concerts before diner in the Music Room, by accomplished musicians, which have been a Canisy tradition with friends of many years.
Leisure activities in Normandy, close to the chateau.
By car you can reach near-by golf courses, notably Agon-Coutainville or Omaha Beach. And you can discover the cultural and touristic world-renowned riches of the region such as Mont Saint Michel or the Bayeux Tapestry ...
During a weekend in our castle in Normandy, you can also visit the significant sites and beaches of the D-day invasion of 1944: Saint Mere l'Eglise, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Arromanches...
Finally, we can suggest other activities in Normandy such as visits to places that are less well known, but well worth discovering - notably some abbeys and cathedrals - but also little fishing ports, gastronomic restaurants of the region, cider-houses, etc...
